A. General Board Rules
1. No Spamming in any section what so ever.
2. No abusing other members.
3. Do no bump posts just because your thread has gone old - its not fair on other peoples posts.
4. Respect our posters who take there time to provide us with links and downloads By leaving them a Thank You!
5. Respect all members of Staff - listen to there final agreements - do not attempt to argue.
6. CODE ALL links, except Desert Forums urls.
7. If you find dead links please report them (use the report button)- do not post in the thread.
8. Search before posting downloads, If its already been posted it may be removed.
9. No advertising through pm's.
10. All posts in guest section must contain Rapishare links.


B. When Posting - Make Sure To...
1. Not leave live links in any warez post use code tags. [*code][/code]
2. If you are posting downloads include a description and a Image.
3. Provide a password if necessary.
4. Not to post links to Protection sites, you will get a warning for this
5. You must maximize your links, If your links are less than 100MB. No more than 5 allowed.
6. Post in the correct forums.


C. Usernames, Avatars And Signatures
1. Avatars must remain 150x150 or smaller - And be 30KB or less in file size.
2. Signatures no larger than 500x150 (single images)
3. You are NOT allowed to SPAM warez sites in your signatures - Else it will be removed straight away.
4. No Crude/Naked/Porn images in avatars.
5. No username is to contain any website or affiliation to any company.


D. Requests
1. Requests can only be made in the requests sections.
2. Members MUST have a post count of 5 good posts to request.
3. Please be sure you search our board before making a request!( A topic may already exist.
4. Only 3 requests per week , which 1 is only allowed in one day.


E. Miscellaneous Rules
1. Change Your Username: Contact Site Admin
2. Do not request your topic to be stickied. Staff will determine its value.
3. All Rules above apply to member profiles as well.
4. Do NOT PM Staff for help unless its for forum function issue or suspicious activity.
5. Not reading or understanding the rules is NOT a excuse to break them.
6. Do NOT make ANY requests for serials, keys or cracks.
7. If someone has posted software that has been useful to you, SAY THANKS!
8. Do NOT ask to be staff, you will be permanently rejected.
9. Do Not be rude to staff members, warnings and possibly a permanent ban, might be issued.


Desert Forums Privacy Policy

Uploaders Rules

This is what Katz is saying about site submits.

2. You will Have to post a minimum of 30 and/or 2 weeks of posts following rules of uploader before you will be considered to become an uploader.

3. All post must follow katz rules NO EXCEPTIONS.

4. You must use Rapidshare as 1 of your file hosts. you may use as many filehosts as u wish as long as not on a banned filehost list but u must use rapidshare also

5. Your post will be your responsibility to keep links alive if your not prepared to refresh your links in a timely manner do not apply

6. Your Post must be easily understood and clean and crisp

7. No Mention of any other site,forum,blog etc in other words no spamming.

If your willing to abide by the above and want to Become an uploader of one the best friendly forums then please apply by sending an PM to admins

Suggestions for posts
1. center all images and screen shots
2. make sure for apps and games special system requirements and install notes included in post and file
3. make links maximum file-host size IE for rapidshare 200mb
4. don't waste space with unnecessary crap IE large text copy n posted with funky letter pictures you know what i mean
5. keep material new and fresh the newer and rarer the material the better the dl count will be
6. if it isn't something u would use, listen to, watch why do u think others would
